Auditions may be scheduled at any time of the year by calling Dr. William

Regular auditions are held the last two weeks of August and the month
of September for the fall semester and during January for the Spring
semester.
The
audition consists of vocalizing to the top and bottom of the singer's
vocal range. The Director determine's the singer's lift and then assigns
a voice part. Included in the audition is the sight-reading of basic
rhythm and pitch examples. It is also requested that the singer performs
a prepared piece of music which could be a hymn, song or operatic aria.
Usually the singer will be notified immediately of the singer's acceptance
into membership in the Capital Area Chorale.
